The waystation, or Ángulo, was responsible for the joining up of three sections of the Manzano line, namely La Leona mine, Manzano mine and Las Menas. This must have become very confusing at times with carriers coming from all directions. There is no loader, so carriers must have been directly transferred from one cable to the other via a rail system.
