Serón Station.

Serón was a very important station as it was another transfer point for iron ore from the mines. There was a 20,000 tonne hopper for loading the goods trains. In addition it was a very important passenger hub as Serón was the main mining town and therefore the main transfer site for miners and workmen, goods, equipment etc. It had a turntable that was dismantled in 1976. It was converted to a sidings only on 1st January 1983. Actually in 'Estación de Serón', 1.3km from Serón.

In addition, goods trains were loaded with sugar beet, esparto grass and other farming products.
