Neilson locomotive

The Neilson 2-6-0 'Águilas', built in 1880 in Glasgow, Scotland. On permanent display in front of Águilas marina.

There is some confusion as to the identity of the loco. This was one of the first locomotives to be bought by The GSSR, and the only one known to survive.

Sadly, she lost her tender as when she was delivered to the town from the workshops, it was seen that the podium was too small so they had to return to the workshops and remove the tender. A shame.
