Tíjola Station.

Sorry, image missing

Tíjola was indispensible for the GSSR as it had a supply of good, relatively soft water only a kilometre away. The water was pumped to storage tanks at the station for the purpose of refilling the locos' tanks. Additionally, there was a pipe sending water to Zurgena Station with refilling points at Fines-Olula, Cantoria and Zurgena for the same purpose. Actually 1.2km from Tíjola.

700 metres from the loader that received iron ore from the Bacares mines.
