15.25Km. Quite a long stretch with a 290 metre (950ft) tunnel and lots of curves, cuttings and embankments. Uncountable manhours of pick and shovel work on this section.
There is an abandoned quarry alongside the track, with its own siding. This is an exceptionally beautiful part of the line and must have given much enjoyment to the passengers.
